Why cant u use both on same page?

 

I have setup several of mine to use Canep as the primary source on the proxified pages. Canep offers a pass-through alternative for times when they don't have an ad to serve, and you can use your Adbrite code there. This way, you have a better shot of having a real ad served.

Good experience so far with Canep. Also, I've heard they are running a beta with PayPal payouts. Given Adbrite's lag time on their payouts, this may bridge the gap between Canep and Adbrite.

Adbrite is still the best IMO, but Canep is a good alternative or supplement, and could even challenge them soon.

 

can i use both ? one banner from adbrite and one from canep ? isn't against their TOS ? i ask because i don't know

I'm starting my own Proxy Network on my own VPS ...
But i have problem with installing script ...

You see that i installed those two scripts ! but if you navigate to some sites nothing will show up ! i don't really know what the problem is !
Safe mode is off !

But if you go here it's CGI-Proxy and you see that it can works !

Please help me !

I bought my VPS from hostv.com
I asked them and they said that they support proxy !

I got these errors on phproxy :

[error] File does not exist: /home/proxy70/public_html/404.shtml
[error] File does not exist: /home/proxy70/public_html/favicon.ico

 

I don't know ??? , i saw only the the vps plans on hostv.com , if you have 256 MB Ram i don't think you can talk about a proxy network .

 

i'm a beginner ... not many sites with my VPS ... just 2 or 3
help me about script please

 

fsockopen function is enabled ? ask your host , for some reason the proxy is not able to connect to another host

Did you upload the favicon.ico in the first place?

 

You need to debug it with some simple php code. If error reporting is disabled in the scripts then enable it to see what errors it is encountering.

 

what about UV's and revenue? The way I see it (and I might be wrong) is that ppl have networks for 10-20 sites each making not more than 0.50-1 $ a day, so they are looking for example a network of 10 sites making at a minimum of 5$ a day or 150 a month. is that how it is supposed to be?

I mean what is the ration of Uniquie visitors to revenue. Is it normal for 400 UV's=.50 or is it more like 400 UV's = 1$. I know that it varies , but on an average?

 

for 400 uniques you should be getting more than 50 cents IMO. Maybe try a new theme.

 

3 proxies with a high ctr theme earned me $5 a day.
So, I guess proxy does make easy money..
All you need is to promote it.

 

It should be around 150 cents per 400 UV on average. 50 is to low. 100 is still low.

 

you have permission error or when you try to place code in either index or proxified page, you corrupt the code function structures... simply replace with original files and also give right permissions so it'll execute...

those file does not exist errors you got are nothing to worry about... they're just saying you dont have browse icon (favico) or page not found page...no need to worry about at all .

 

phproxy does not need any special file permissions as far as I know, and home page is loading fine so there cannot be any file permission errors or php syntax errors or socket errors (unless php error reporting is turned off which phproxy does not do by default) in my opinion.

 

the result of his proxified page not laoding is due to code error or permission, most likely code error.... not all scripts shows error report and if due to code error (but not "noticeable" by the server as syntax or any error) so it will not show in his error log nor show errro code on the page.

plus chmodding wrong / permission for instance not giving read permisison will give error as well.
