Do you use an adsense protection program such as clickaider? I have listed on proxy.org even during the time all of the "bots" were going around and had no problems, I just keep my users limited to one click per ad per 24hrs.
please tell how to configure clickaider to restrict users from clicking more?? i could not find any information regarding that on their site
does this work if the visitor right click on the ads ? can be done 100 times without the script knowing he has just clicked a second ago I don't think there a script that will protect you from this behavior because the script has to be loaded to validate the click
Actually, I can think of several reasons why one might want to do that. I my case Craigslist is blocked at work, as are some other sites that allow me to upload attachments.
Hi all experts, if I have a proxy which is blocked by the filter companies, can I just buy a fresh domain and parked it to the old domain and promote the new domain? Will the new domain allow access to my proxy? Thanks!
Hey dude well most of these filter companies blocks domain names only as i know they dont have time to find the IP address of a proxy site and ... So just have fresh domain names also you could use subdomains for those whom dont like to pay for Fresh domain names
And what proof do you have that google doesn't like foreign clicks? Do you work for google that you know what they like or dislike? What exactly do you mean by foreign clicks? As far as I am concerned you are foreign because you certainly do not live in my country. I think you need to practice what you preach and not jump to conclusions.
If anyone can get youtube working on my proxy I will offer them a week of free 480x60 banner ad advertising on my proxified pages. My site gets 100,000+ page views a day and this will be offered to your non proxy sites.
$100 for custom mod to get YouTube and Break.com working on my proxies (will be a 10 proxy network in a couple of days).
Foreign is any traffic that isn't from English speaking countries (US, Canada, UK, Australia). It is a well known fact that advertisers only like this traffic and will only pay well for this traffic. If you have too much foreign, it creates an expense for the advertiser since your actually losing money by serving ads to them. This is not jumping to conclusion. I have many advertiser relationships (not just signing up and e-mailing them, actually talking to them) and this is the case. thewird
I don't understand this statement because Google sometimes changes even the advertisements and language of the advertising to the language of the visitor (think must be tracked from the IP)... and the world is much bigger than english speaking coutries and google knows !!
Yes, but the demand for non-english is like 100000:1 . There are 100,000 people "wanting" to see foreign ads but there is only 1 paid ad per those 100,000 people. The ratio is probably worse then this actually. thewird
The bottom line is if no products are being sold there’s no money being made (false economy) and visitors from foreign countries are very good at clicking your ads (probably because they cant read them and don’t know what they are) and not buying anything. If your proxy has lots of low converting traffic google will smart price you or worse. It’s that simple. Getting lots of clicks is probably the easy part, getting quality clicks is the hard part, especially with proxies.
