Yahoo answers can bring you some regular traffic but not much. Promotion in groups can be effective only if you know how to advertise (to write your message for the newsletter) and depends on the subscribed members of the group (where are they from).

You could choose to manually approve ads in your zone setting but I would not recommend it since from my experience the fill rate droppes to around 0%. The CPM ads are shown automatically, depending on different factors and availability of other ads (text ads for example). You just need to let it be and CPMs will be shown whenever possible.

Pretty much yes, but if your proxy gets blocked in one school, it doesnt mean that it will be blocked in other schools also... But after you see some drastic fall in the traffic and you can not regain it normally (because your proxy is blocked in most places), as others suggested, start a new proxy and redirect the traffic from the old one.

 

Redirection has always worked good for me.

is a custom script i think , made by them or a deviation....modified for their needs .... maybe i'm wrong....

 

I use a similar script to list to list and check proxies. Not exactly similar, because it requires lot of server resources

Do you know any international-traffic-supported CPM sites? I've had 22,000 impressions of my Adzone on my proxies and earned a small $1 because mostly CPC ads are being shown. 22,000 impressions could get me quite a bit extra if for example the CPM is $1 or $2.

 

Anyone have an idea why websense.com would be viewing a google cache of my site?

it'll do no harm

as for the best time, only do it when you are CERTAIN your site is blocked MOST places or you can jsut add in 1 more domain to your netowrk without redirecting your old one to it yet

So i have 7 proxies now, and i've done some early promotion, like submitted to top sites and small newsletters. But am hoping to pick up some more US traffic, i'm thinking i might try a stumbleupon package. My target goal is to have 15 proxies each receiving 1000/UV a day by march, however I am starting to doubt I will reach that goal without spending lots of cash.

If i have a $10 budget for promotion for 15 sites ($10 each site) where would you spend it?
