Well I usually research a few days before buying a domain. Before starting the network I am working on now I created a .txt file full of domains I looked at from Go Daddy domain look up and figured out what would be good and more likely not to be caught. Now I have a list of around 20 so if one of mine gets blocked in a couple weeks then I will have another one for the next few weeks if you understand that. So I just really research.
does PR matter for a proxy? like if its PR3 or something? Does PR affect the proxy sites sale value??
I am thinking it might affect the sale value of the site of what I have read. I am not to sure though so do not take my word on it but thats what I have read.
I've never thought of it that way. So you've got two options [1] Non-proxy in domain = Earnings through adsense [2] Proxy in domain = Earnings through text links Both are equal I think, but a stable future if through Adsense unless it is banned, in which case textlinks is the better way to earn.

You buy a new domain, and make a new proxy with it? Or do you assign that domain the nameservers of the proxy that is blocked, so it's the same proxy with a new domain pointing to it?
If you sell it, it will have more value. Also when you sell text links as well I am now offering topsite submissions - discounts to those who come from this thread Check it out here!
I buy a brand new domain. Then I upload everything to my hosting under than domain change everything and make a brand new design or brand new site whichs will be new to users and they will visit.
waste of time to upload everything on it again and again they are too busy to find the ip address and ... they just block domain names so if you need to have a new proxy just register a new domain names and park it on the same index... thats all im making proxies for 4 years and already have had 570 proxy sites so know this ...
antman people dont care ,how beautiful theme is just put big ads your welcome ramphix we have Rep marks in these conditions also I have a question how could i put my ads a proxified pages of surrogafier proxy?
i think proxies are like get a rich scheme, no real long time profit has in it, some day they will just shout down or something like that and then you will loose all your traffic, does anyone agree with me on this one?
@JacobNix No Adsense ads on any proxified pages - it acts as an iFrame, and Google doesn't allow that.
I am having a lot of trouble with my sites getting blocked by websense right away. Short of paying for expensive scripts written by others, what can a proxy webmaster do to decrease the chances of getting blocked? I launched a site less than a week ago and did no promoting whatsoever, and just paid for some myspace bulletins, and am hearing that it's blocked already. What gives?
Not quite, because kids are always looking for ways around the system to check there e-mail/myspace or youtube videos
yes and when u shur down there are still plenty of other web hosts which will be willing to host ur proxy site.. so as long as there are filters/firewalls, these proxies will prosper
1. Not use a .info 2. Don't submit to proxy.org 3. Don't include the word 'proxy' or 'proxies' in the domain Also do you own a proxy topsite? Then check out this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=406740
I'd prefer to have a domain name which is not limited to certain content, so you can therefore change the content afterwards. This way the domain appeals to more people. Example is my site RKO.in doesnt relate to proxy atall but its short and memorable so thats what counts IMHO
