hope you're not referring to google referral ads.
Those are not alowed in proxified pages.

You could always go for teens niche for other aff products like form cj and stuff BUT
keep in mind that most proxy users may not have extra$ to buy the products so it may be watse of space. Unless you get decent traffic to try it, try it out.

Yes except glype doesn't work on all servers. Mine happens to be one, Yes phproxy has been dumped by the original person however people still have working mods for it and at some point someone will pick phproxy back up and make a fork off it and will then be supported again

Profit wise it is worth it (this thread wouldn't be so successful here if it wasn't ;) ) and they are so easy to run. However, I am now selling my own network as I am losing interest in proxies and want to start work on something that does interest me.

See my network sale thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=654986 :D

Only things you need for glype are php5 and curl. php4 is no longer supported so if you host is still using it you had better find another.

Why not go to the glype support forum and ask the developer directly

most are already prebuilt and ready to go. Just upload and change your adsense/content/link exchanges

do a google search for free proxy templates. Those already are coded, etc so all you need is a domain and host:)

Yep, http://www.freeproxytemplates.com/ is what you need. When you download a template it actually comes fully coded and ready to use. They have a config file that is easy to understand where you simply input things like the name of site and change the text on the site if you want and put in your ad code. Then you just upload the files to your server and your done.

For a proxy host, I recommend CloakHost.com. I have been with them for a few months and it is a great service. Good prices too.

My proxy Site is doing pretty well. I bought about 6 days ago. The domain was registered this month.
I just moved it to my server and added adsence about 9 hours ago, it has made 7$ thus far.

    Want youtube/myspace/facebook compatibility ?

Ask yourself first. why you need this ? more traffic ?

Youtube will suck your bandwidth so you should really be aware of that risk before taking it. an average 5 minutes video will be 20MB or maybe more. an average user will browse like 10 videos/day. be ready for that bandwidth.

Also facebook is so dynamic. create a script that is compatible with facebook today and see it stopping working after few weeks because facebook guys are active and they always keep facing proxy sites with their professional dynamic programming.

Myspace will block your domain/IP if spam passes through your proxy to the site.

And how much will you pay for script + hosting with large bandwidth and how much will you be earnings from ads in return ?

Face it guys, we are making this business for profits not to help teens access blocked sites from school and if offering those facilities will cost you loads of money then it won't worth it.

I hope you read this post before seeking youtube compatibility in particular and maybe facebook as well.

Never thought about the spam issues with myspace.
Probably a captcha should be incorporated into the proxies.

As far as bandwidth, who cares.
A good VPS plan will give you about 3,000 Gigs.

    1. the problem arises when 10 people at the same time are accessing videos through the server. that 3000 GBs bandwidth is capped at 10mbps speed which will put a lot of strain on ur resources

moreover, the heavier the page, more ram is used more time is required for processing each request and in short ur proxies run slower and are jammed

i would disagree somehow with Tech-Entrance on the myspace compatibility issue though. Enabling myspace brings enormous traffic and can ever earn your substantially more justby putting ads on the proxified apges

I mean human spam - those viagra offers coming to your myspace inbox and sent to you by humans using proxies ;)

    Not everyone can afford VPS.

PS: there is no VPS that can push 3TB on a proxy buddy. unless you are the only one on the node :D

    Afford VPS?
This is business, running the Hosting is the cost of the profit.
If you not making profit then yes. You should not be getting a vps. lol:p
Well I used 22 GIGS this month, yesterday was 8 gigs of that.
