they don't host you from what i know , few people host proxies , most of them have their own dedicated server or resellers , godaddy host you on VPS i think...
buyer123, It depends on what proxy script you have that you're wanting to put the ads on the proxifed pages! There are differences depending on what type! Boulder
Ok i found a host. Does anyone know around how much a proxy website could make using adsense in a month?
Does it matter if I use a .info domain over a .com or .net? Like will it effect the amount of views for the site?
Yes it does. n00bs will remember a .com more easily than a .info. Now stop asking questions and start already!
Would you call a 2.5 month old proxy established? Mine isn't that old, but thats my goal, so I can sell it
How many of you guys have purchased links to promote your proxy? If you have, I want to know where...thanks.
there is nothing wrong with having "proxy" in the domain. Most filters don't even use domain detection anymore. If you have "proxy" on your page, it will be blacklisted automatically. Might as well have your main keyword in the domain and make SEO easier.
I dont agree with the guy above....I have had a few proxies. And I have used them at work for the longest time. My work blocks any word of proxy, so I have used sites that dont have mention to proxy except in url and I get a flag at work and get called in the office....Numerous times..haha So better stay away. As far as being in serps, I have some sites that get tons of hits and they were all viral....well one post on myspace...... I dont need the serps with that kind of advertising....But sure I guess it could help...but its a swamped market so getin to the top in google would be quite hard... Just my own opinion tho.... If you like the name go for it
