Just wondering if you have any hard proof of this. I think it is just a 'myth' with proxy owners but I wanna know if this is actually true in a controlled test.
Logic is not always true without any facts to back it up. I'm not saying I like pop-ups but then again I don't think the same as the hundreds/thousands of students visiting my proxy because I was the person who created the proxy in the first place for them. In fact I use adblock to block any ads whatsoever. If everyone despises ads, then why haven't they all used that add-on for firefox already? Most people that see a pop-up on a site wont close it an never visit it again is the way I see it but then again thats not using any proof so until someone can prove me wrong I will be happy.
I love popup ads.... on my own sites =) I think I will take them off as I only earn about $0.4 a day from each one. Once I get more proxies though I might put it back. Anyways killafawk I am still wanting your 400 uniques a day secret if you will offer it for a lower price.
Pop-ups are really ineffective for me, I have auto reflex. If I popunder comes I just have this reflex now and hit rightclick and Close it really fast without even thinking about it. Like impulse.
I figure as much that people close them really fast, I actually saw a pop-under for Credit card by capitalone, I've seen it hundred times probably and closed them.But I became interested in having a CC, So I purposely went to site with pop-unders and tryed to find that pop-under again Becuase I became interested in seeing what it was, So I could view the offer. That was quite funny I never did that before. the offer though was a $700 limit with a $75 dollar deposit 19% annual interest and some personal details like Social number address etc.lol
its actually 1,000 uniques plus + im making 6$ a day off a semi smart priced account, will be making the move to a unsmart priced account on monday which should bring around 12-20$ a day with the proxy then i can times that over 5 times and i got 100$ a day in which i sell the proxies off every week for a combined total of about 2,000$ + ad revenue would be about 700$ so around 2,700$ a week x 4 weeks is 10,800$ and your telling me im selling it to high

who wonders why your not involved in forums seems like nobody even knows you really. and nobody knows these techniques and i don't let them go easily i sell them for 1,500$ a piece to teach people how to do it. i've got proof of 450$ a week sales of a proxy every week its not hard to replicate it over 4 more times.

Been in the proxy business for almost 3 years now. Hosting is just a side business since its easy for me but it grew bigger then I thought it would with over 100 dedicated servers and ~60 VPS's. I'm mostly prevalent in proxy.org . Anyway, I don't think this is going anywhere constructive, so lets just leave it at this. thewird
