You should be looking at CPU when it comes to proxies ;)

Take the ads off for a few days or change the text on the site - sometimes works well for me

Wait for some time to get it crawled again by adsense and also Allow/Bring US traffic. Crap Porn lover china traffic let the proxy to get smartpriced so block them.

I am running the PHPproxy script and am about to hit the 2000+UV per day. I am running it on a dedicated server.

The issue is that all of my other sites that are on the server is not showing up!!! Basically my proxy site is taking on all of the resources and slowing my computer.

What is the best way to handle 2000+ UV with 10000+ page hits per day? Where can I get a good server just for proxy that doesn't cost me too much?

    Thanks,
    CM

As the saying goes, "you pay for what you get". Proxies shouldn't effect your other sites unless the server is overloaded and your other sites need mysql or something similiar.

I have the server out of dedicatednow. Yes all my other sites need mysql. so they are not showing up or taking forever to load.

Any advice on where I should look for a good server? I need to migrate my proxy to a new server or my other sites.

    Thanks,
    CM
