Yep, mine got 2k+ uniques in the last 25 days. Feel free to submit as many proxies as you want to my Proxy Topsite (button is not required, but recommended for better ranking and more exposure, however this proxy site is not like others and sites are not ranked by incoming votes, but by how many timse our button has been shown on your site. This way smaller proxies have good chance to rank well too. Also a random member is featured on the top of the page with every refresh).

oh god pay-ads...Going block that off in my hosts file.
Thats some dirty shit!! viruses.;)
Do you know that makes your visitors download .exe files? and redirects your visitors to other pages without warning?
It loads Iframes with iframes inside it and more iframes inside the iframes and scans advertiseing engines created fake imps?
This is why the CPM is 3.50 the owner is scamming.

Can someone help me install adbrite code to proxified pages? I have read the guide on freeproxytemplates but somehow, I do get page impressions, yet I cannot see the add.

Do the code need to install on index.inc or index.php? This may be dumb of me, but I am somehow dumb...

Thanks for the help!

Install it in the index.php file, scroll to the bottom and place it where it says insert here in the example code.
[go: <a href="' . $_script_url . '?' . $_config['url_var_name'] . '=' . encode_url($_url_parts['prev_dir']) .' ">up one dir</a>, <a href="' . $_script_base . '">main page</a>]'
. '<br /><hr />'
.'INSERT CODE HERE';
Code (markup):

Im guessing you were using a shared hosting like godaddy or something else. The only fix is to switch to a host that allows proxies. I personally use a dedicated box but a friend of mine uses hagiohost and you can find his recomendation here

IMO, Hagio Host sucks. "They" refused to refund me money after I had canceled more than a month prior to my requests. Also, continued to bill me for canceled accounts a whole month after they were finally canceled; and refused to refund those to me, too. The "owner" was banned from dp, for what reasons I can only speculate. Those chicken sh*ts refused to reply to any of my emails either. Bad customer support and a ripoff. I still think one man runs the show. Caveat emptor: Buyer beware.

What are some good hosts to rent/buy a dedicated box?
How much $ does that go for a month/annual payments?

I had a proxy site that was making less than a $ a day. I was out of my host as they did not allow proxies. So I parked that domain. The name was making a normal $ a day until yesterday. Yesterday it shoot up to 20$ per day. This was not because of the clicks or CTR. The cost per click suddenly raised over a $ a click, everything else was normal. Do any of you have any idea about this.

Thats odd. How many unique visitors and page views you getting on the domain?

If you wanna get a dedi to host proxies I would say around $150 to 200$ monthly payments for a good server that would be able to handle the traffic. http://wdservers.com/ Has some dedi's dedicated and optimized for hosting proxies, I would suggest his hosting. If your proxies still aren't able to make that much then his vps's of 512MB RAM with tons of bandwidth is 60$ a month.

I've never thought about using monetized proxy websites for profit generating purposes. If I may be allowed an extreme understatement, this thread has been an interesting read.

Yes , I was seeing that in earlier posts this is the thewirds Hosting service?
His selling page looks bit questionable but I suppose I trust him if you guys say so and seems to know what he's talking about in prevoius posts. Might consider to rent out a dedicated from him when I have the funds .

Well, I could have just made a "tiny url" redirection and you would not have known it was an affiliate link. But that would just piss you off, so what the hell, you might as well know that you are supporting a fellow dp'er :))).
