I want to build a topsite and I want it to be keyword rich as possible, but what's the proper term if I were to register a domain for it? For example. Which would be best? PetTopsite.com OR PetTopsites.com OR PetTopList.com OR PetTop100.com Just like how forums are. PetForums.com and PetForum.com are obviously the proper terms if you want a keyword rich domain. But for a topsite/list, what would it be?
I'm not going to lie, none of those tell me exactly what the site does. Like PetForum... I expect to see a pet forum. PetTopSite... what is that? Top what? Top Pets? Top Pets what? To live with with? To have around children? huh? I'm lost!
I'm just talking about a toplist/topsite in general. What's the proper term for it? When talking about "forums" as an example, obviously the proper term is "forum" and not "community" or "board" and what not. People would search more for "pet forums" rather than "pet community" and "pet boards." But in relation to topsites/toplists, what is the proper term?
We don't know what a "topsite" is. That's the problem. Are you talking about an index site where like the top 100 sites folks have voted on are listed? Like this: http://wpthemesgallery.com/top-40/ If not, can you point at an example of what you;re looking at please?
You don't know what a topsite is? Ever seen something like this? wwwDOTaardvarktopsitesphp.com/topsites/
That is a script that will givey ou the top sites on a topic. So assuming you are sticking with pets, I would assume a good domain would be something like "TopPetSites.com", or "TheBestPetWebsites.com".
Forget about it being keyword rich, that doesn't matter. Focus on describing what the site is about in as few words as possible
