The problem about being a webmaster (Or mistress) is... 1. I always seem to end up with at least 500 folders in my FTP each month, and after cleaning I tell myself I shall keep it nice and tidy.. I never do 2. Owning a few to many sites, all my sites get a nice number of hits but the big problem is I get confused and forgot sites that I have. 3. Ideas, I only have good ideas for websites when im out, at school or some other place in not next to my PC.. I always forget them before I get home./ 4. Some months you can make tons of money, and some you make none.. I mean I would prefer to earn 500 a month compaired to 1.5k one month and 10 the next -- What about you people? --
Hmmm i cant say i ever had any of the above but being a webmaster and a student at the same time does not work. Every time im doing a bit of research or get on my computer to type a bit of wor up i end up building some theme or submiting my websites to various directories instead.
Hah, yeah same there. Infact.. I hope I do well online, being I think last time I did my GCSE coursework was.. wow ages ago.
I end up with too many domains and no desire to use them. I always come up with a great idea for a site, run to register the domain, then realize I don't have any use for it.
.. is not having enough sleep, eating too much junks and coffee, owning stupid domain names and having your wife nags at you for not having a normal job
Truly having a wife nagging for having such job really sucks. However, when they realized and saw the money coming, they would look at you as the man, the genius, and the true head of the family.
It's called being organized! Judging by your past 'ideas' it's probably very good that you forget most of them!!!! psst, still want my phone number?!?!! So over two months you would rather make $1,000 instead of $1,510??!! er I said, get off that pot!!!!!
I get a PhD ( Permanent head Damage ) from that now and can't be bothered with it anymore. Yeah, one day she'll realise that i am a total genius and a great visionary ..
Compared to any other business I know, website publishing has less risk and requires less capital. Where else could you set up shop for a few dollars a month and some time with a reasonable hope of turning that into a long term income that generates cash even if you don't work on it for a while? The flip side of people, including wives, not understanding/appreciating what you are doing is that it will allow you to "Get rich in the dark." There are lots of benefits to that
No matter how many times I try and explain it, swmbo still thinks I make money doing nothing. One day she might understand that coding takes concentration and content & IBLs don't grow on trees.
