Hi everyone. I've been on this for a week now, and still can't seem to figure it out. How do i calculate the probability of new visitor returning to my site? Is it even possible to calculate with what we have? I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks.
select the dates from starting to end of the week and check the no of returning visitors, may be that will work a little bit
As a guide to doing it, use bookmark me tools and social media buttons to get the customer interacting with your brand. That way you can get them to return and not have to worry about your current probabilities. That is yesterday.
Here are a few ways to get repeat visitors: 1) Build a List 2) Enable a way for visitors to communicate on your blog 3) Use Twitter, Facebook, etc Coming to calculating the probability of new visitors returning, well, you have to analyze your existing data. The returning visitors number in Google Analytics is actually the count of how many visits were made by returning visitors, not the actual number of returning visitors themselves. To get the number of returning unique visitors you have to subtract the number of "new visitors" from the total number of absolute unique visitors.
The only that's left is - Improve content, quality, format and presentation and you'll definitely get returning visitors.
Nr. 1 on that list is IMO the most effective way to monetize and get people to come back to your site...
