The price for "tuning" content on a website

    Hello all..

First of all I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

I am not a native English writer so in the future I will probably have to look for a person good at writing English.

I am wondering what prices I would be looking at for "tuning" content. Meaning I have written some intro and content articles, and they will need a little "magic" so they get a better "flow" and is more easy on the eyes..

For instance a 200 word introduction to some sort of service, what would that cost to "tune"..?

I know I can't get an excact number, just an estimate.

I appricate any comments and hints..

    Thanks in advance
    Thomas

I think that you might want to post this under the area for buying and selling content. Are you looking to give a writer a rough draft and then for that person to rewrite a full-fledged article? There are several writers on here who rewrite articles. Not sure if this is what you're looking for though, but it sounds like it.

Revisions are usually less than rewriting an article. I don't believe a piece would have to be completely rewritten in the traditional sense unless you have a very poor grasp of English.

Generally, proofreading and revisions will run anywhere from a few dollars to a set hourly rate. Personally, I charge $0.01 -$0.05 per word to review and revise existing content. Revising is NOT rewriting. Rewriting means changing a sentence completely to fool search engines or make dramatic changes to an existing piece for a legitimate reason. Revisions are simply small (sometimes larger) changes to improve readability and flow.

    For something like that?

We are probably talking under an hour, so it would be, maybe, $65.
