    Hi there,
Does google treat www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com as seperate entities?
If so, should I install both tracking codes onto my webpages?
    Thanks

Just install tracking code and you'll be OK, Analytics should track both domains.

But on Analytics, I added my site twice - once under www and one without (which it allows). Somehow, I'm thinking it may not be a good idea to have two tracking codes on my page.

Well, they will work, but you don't need two.

You only need one. You can set the preferred name in Google Webmaster tools, its recommended to. You can also set your server to forward one to the other. Having both is a duplicate content issue.

    Hope this helps,
