Yes and if you post an entertaining and/or useful video on youtube with your site details on, you can get loads of publicity. I have a video that has received 180,000 views in 2 years. It cost me nothing to make - just a few hours of my time.
Yes i agree with you, not all have fast internet connection... Video are really good when you use it on sale but you must consider some problems that may arise...
I just found an extension for Firefox that deactivate the auto-play of audio and videos... So, if you're using Firefox, you might want to add this addon. Hope this helps
The idea of deactivating the autoplay will help the loading fast but not all using firefox that have an add.on that stop the autplay...
Videos is a great way to promote your business on the internet and the two big search engine like google and yahoo loves web sites like youtube..the videos will be spidered in no time. this is one of the secret ways marketeers dominate the search engine listing..how ever put only minimal videos on your sites...putting many videos in your site is not a guarantee that your website will have a higher ranking...
Some sales videos make me cringe. I definitely agree that it depends on the audience as to whether a video works as a marketing technique. It would be interesting to see polls of different audiences on this subject. Videos that autoplay and grab the attention from the other sales messages on the page can backfire if someone just closes the page to avoid the cheesy video.
Video marketing is great because you make an instant connection with your viewer, you can convey your message much more quickly and it is easier for the viewer to watch a video than it is for them to read a mountain of paragraphs. Whether it's convenience or we are just getting lazier as technology continues to grow, video is the new wave of information distribution.
