    The Power of using webmaster forums to boost traffic

    Ok you should all know by now that webmaster forums are a useful place to get information about seo, marketing,traffic ,etc but did you know that alot of people are interested in 1:1 exchanges of stumbles, tags on delicious etc .

    I put a post on most of the webmaster forums around in the apprioate section stating that you want to start a 1:1 exchange and you will be surprised the amount of people wanting to join . I did this awhile back and found that I was getting an extra 2000+ uniques a month just by doing this.

    It happened to me also. I put my new SEO tool details and suddenly my traffic went 4 times more... But keep in mind .. The post you send should be useful post...

    I prefer to not do this and get my stumble traffic naturally. The worst sinario that could come from this is that the owners of these companies could go to the forums and ban your domain and then you will not get any traffic at all from them.

    Although, I'm starting to think that this will never happen that much anymore as it is happening on hundreds of places on the web now.
