the power of pr7?

am wondering if i get pr7 link to blog with no links back pr0

with first pr update it will get pr6 ?

i did this with other blog which only got one link back from pr4 and first pr was pr3

same thing or not ?

 

IMHO, you won't get a 6. The PR Algo is not as straight forward as it used to be. If you really want a 6, get 2 more 7s.

 

I guess you'll get a maximum of PR4.

 

I agree the max you would get is 4, probably less, it depends on how many other outbound links are on that PR7 page.

 

To get Pr6 you must have a pr 7 with few Pr6 and lot of lower PR backlinks.

Yes, it will be a good link. But as other said, by itself it will probably only boost you to a 4 or so.

If you want a 6, you would probably buy somes 4s, a few 5s, a few 6s and a few 7s. Plus it depends on if the link is counted (or discounted for being sold).

If it's topically unrelated, it might spread even less PR.

 

In my experience you need a lot of quality backlinks to get a high PR. One PR7 link will not do it. Even if you have 3 PR7 links it will not do it. You will need as many high PR one way links as possible pointing to your site and lower PR does not hurt either. I wish it really was that easy to get a high PR.

 

Dude it depends on the linking page / site, relevancy and total number of outgoing / inner links as well

I have seen - a site get PR7 with just one PR7 backlink and few other PR3/4 backlinks.

The point is - the link giving site is PR7 with one PR9 and few other high PR backlinks (it has in total 37 backlinks according to Yahoo site-explorer and one link with Google link: operator) and has great power to pass on PR. It also has only two outgoing link one of them being the first site I mentioned.

So, if the PR7 link you will get is very strong and has no outbound link - you might even get PR7. All depends on PR passing power of that PR7 link you want to get.

 

To get PR 7, you need approximately 2 PR 8 & 7 PR 7 backlinks....that too dofollow

 

you will get a decent PR with just that 1 link but not a 6 for sure... more like a 4 or if you are lucky a 5

 

You might get some love. the PR7 might give you enough juice and if you have other 3,4,and 5's you will get a 6. ONLY with RELEVANT Links though.

I think the you get PR 7 then you get High traffic and Quality and Relevant Back link from Grater then PR 7 sites

 

It every part of on depends in the lead outbound link.
