Hi all, I just thought I'd gauge the community for its thoughts on DMOZ these days affecting your Google, Bing search engine rankings For those from the old school days you might remember Google used to show Google Directory listings beneath your search result in their web page results (if you had a DMOZ listing) I still find that even though this dropped off from their result pages years ago, they still heavily influence a good ranking on Google. I have several sites that have no inbound links at all other then a DMOZ listing and withing 30 days of having that DMOZ listing, these pages were ranking in the top 3 against competitors with thousands of incoming quality links. DMOZ has some heavy weight Bing results follow suit Your thoughts?
