Exactly, porn is the biggest money maker on the internet, and if one is willing to break the rules and feed crap to children then they will do just about anything to get folks to their sites because they don't care in the first place.

That includes browser highjacks, spyware installation, fake anti-spyware sites that are fronts for porno sites, mis-spelled domains, expired domain traffic, spamming server logs, fooling Google and just about anything under the Sun that they can think of.

Even forum spamming is something that they look at using signatures to drive traffic and paying folks for their signatures then linking to porn sites. :p  :p

But none of this explains how they make money by supposedly enticing children to their sites. Traffic alone does not make money it costs money, you have to get payments to make money.

How do they make money bringing webmasters in Mel

Some of these webmasters here are 13 years old, they see porn links in their server logs just like you and I do

You're being deliberately obtuse here for the sake of argument, right Mel?

Do you really think that all the people who click on/search for "Mickey Mouse" are children? Do you even believe that most of them are?

The unfortunate fact is that adult webmasters (top dogs) are employing cutting edge techniques. These guys know the game better than most. I posted this a few days ago http://www.niched-hubs.com/articles/boosting-linkpop-with-natural-linking/

This article was written over 5 years ago. I have had some dealings in my mainstearm business with 'adult' (top dog) webmasters and can confirm these guys are light years ahead. Furthermore I have actually applied some of the tactics that were volunteered to me by these adult webmasters. Combining this with things I have also learned on my own= top ten ranking in my most competive keyword for years.

Let me be clear in saying that I do not agree with pornography being made available to unsuspecting eyes. Pornography being one of the most saturated/ competitive arenas would mean that you would have explore the outer limits of SEO.

Show me a porn site that has been in existence for long enough to benefit from a ten year old maturing to the point that he can start paying. That might be a strategy but it hasn't actually happened yet I believe.

Have you ever thought that these guys get paid for clicks Mel and that is all they want is for someone to click on their links so they can make money

No of course not Minstrel, I would believe it if you told me that you regularly searched for mickey mouse, but I have never had the need to do so.

Interesting idea Anthony, you don't make money from the porn you make it from the clicks. But then why do you need the porn site?

'crap seo services'...where do you come up with some of these gutsplittingly highlarious statements? I know getting personal isn't a good idea according to AC, but man, some of the things the come out, frankly almost cause unination in my pants.

Just curious Minstrel...when you have poutine do you also put Ketchup on all that gravy and cheese? I have just recently started doing this and what a flavor...just a little tartier. If you haven't tried it you gotta :D

    Tell me about it, sitetutor...

I started this thread talking about how Google can mean a huge difference in visitors, and then it moved on to some weird fight which I lost track of after the 5th page...
