Created a fan page a few days ago myself. Though it's pretty pathetic seeing just two fans (one being myself), I'm quite optimistic. I see that a lot of people on here are marketing a product. Am I the only one here who just wants fans for self validating purposes? ;-) P.
I need a little help here. My blog is going pretty well, and so I started a Facebook page. First thing I did wrong (I think) is make it a group page and not a fan page. So then I created a Fan page. I am totally stumped about what kind of info to put on my page. I already update my blog many times/day. I don't have anything left to say. What the heck can I say to bring it to life????? My facebook fan page is called Tucson on the Cheap. ( I look for inexpensive, fun things to do here.) I would sooooo appreciate help. I know my page is bad. I honestly don't know what to do. Help?
WOW! I am not really "selling" any crap, but my FB is not really growing. I wonder what the key is! I have been stuck at a measly 65 for a while now. But, if you can get fans, I imagine it would help traffic.
Yes, Fanpages can make a huge difference in the traffic to your site once you have a lot of friends. A lot of marketers have ignored Fanpages, and they don't know what they are missing!
Thanks for sharing your experience with us! I totally agree - it takes long time to see expected results, but it is definately worth. Well done!
Agree with the majority. pages is obviously a big win win for traffic, though it requires $ and time, it is absolutely worth it.
