I think most people that use autosurfs are only doing so to get their own sites or affiliate links seen. Probably only a small percentage take any notice of the sites shown. Waste of time in my opinion.
Yea, i do agree! autosurf and traffic exchange, which used to be my main source of traffic as a begginer, is a waster of time!! O.K - so i got 3.5k uniques, but no targets visitors and my site wasnt viewd by anyone. Master SE! SEO, Link building etc... learn the hard way
You'll get banned by Google adsense team if you're using autosurf or any traffic exchange program to generate traffic to your sites.
I would like to seperate the manual surf exchanges from the scum of the auto-surf 'industry'. I run a successful te, and am not here to just talk myself up - but rather to make the distinction between auto-surfs and a well managed manual traffic exchange. I feel like I am constantly having to make apologies for the awful things that the auto's do! At my exchange, we have a real community of members, who view eachother's sites in exchange for views of theirs. It's the way that exchanges were meant to work. We have an active forum, where we share ideas about how our online ventures are/or aren't progressing. We allow our senior members to have contact with the members that they refer, building even more community. I strongly believe that if you are part of a manual surf community, that it can be very useful in getting noticed and gaining online recognision. They were correct in saying that you cannot use a site that has adsense on it, but if you want to still use the tools and exposure that a good traffic exchange service provides, then you can produce a splashpage that tells people what your site is about, without any adsense - which works very effectively. Sorry about the rant .. lol. It's just that the whole auto-surf thing REALLY bugs me. Cindy
my oppinion:using autosurf even if you get traffic(unique visitors 1visitor/1hits or so) you just do that to show your visitors how popular your site is and so many pple are visiting it, but infact your tricking yourself, you don't do much link building or seo because you think you can compensate it with autosurf sites

Yeah, I agree aren't of much use. If you want to use one, make sure it's a manual traffic exchange like clickvoyager, however my site uses AdSense so I can't use it.
do not use autosurf to get traffic to your site. simply puts>> people who surf simply go there to get money. most of the time they simply minimize the program. Frankly I have done so myself i.e. din even look at the site
It's only used to increase traffic figures to make your site look like it's very popular. For selling it. Most can see for themselves what a site is worth anyhow. If you have the correct tools you can tell if a site used fake traffic. Col
Zero conversion, and only a small fraction of your "visitors" will even bother to look at your site, and that is a fact. All in all, the visitors coming from autosurfs are just numbers on a screen. F1RM
