We always see many "pm me details" and most of those who post that get infraction and 7 days ban but why do we forget that if the seller included full info there will be no need to ask such question?

There must be a rule that sellers include info about what they are selling like domain and earning proof and such. with ability to redirect these links through tinyurl or any other similar service for privacy concerns.

I'm more into diplomatic solutions so instead of putting rules to prevent something we can do rules to direct users to do it so instead of banning those who post "pm me info" posts we punish those who don't provide these info in the first place on purpose to get free thread bumping.

One more thing. dealing with PM is not the best solution for this matter because public questions are more knowledgeable and provide more info to buyers about the item on sale like confirmations of item uniqueness. Dealing with pms also raises scams level.

    Comment and discuss :)

If they have specific questions that apply to everyone, they can post those questions. Saying "pm me details" isn't asking a question. If that's all they have to say - nothing that adds value to the thread - then they should PM the OP.

We've already addressed the issue of why we don't require people to post all details publicly several times this week. In short, there are legitimate reasons for keeping certain information private - such as not wanting domain names or details, or even proof of sale, indexed by search engines.

We're aware there are better options, which have also already been brought up and discussed this week. For example, we know an "interested" button would solve a lot of the problems. But as Shawn already pointed out a day or two ago, it's not something that's going to happen in the very near future.
