Does anyone have an example of a fantastically optimised page ? I know thats a very broad question but i would love to see something that has taken everything into account that engines look for.If someone is prepared to say what keyword its optimised for also that would be great ! Thanks all.... just want to know what to aim for.

Its pretty much an impossible question to answer as a joomla site is different to a wordpress site is different to a blogger site is different to a html site...

How about you post your own site and maybe someone can give you a few pointers?

To be honest I think you are fighting a battle that is already lost. If your content consists solely of posts scraped from authority sites (nfl.com, yahoo.com), then you have huge duplicate content issues.

Can you reevaluate your strategy to involve posting original content?

Another thing your site could do better is its url structure. You want to avoid passing variables with '?' and '&' when possible. You could use a mod rewrite to make much more search engine friendly urls.

Also it would help if each post had its own page. So if you wanted to rank for a specific football search term, a specific post could be optimized for that term.
