I want to display CPC adverts on my website, but I hate google and so I need an alternative agency.

The problem with my website is that because my main feature is very server-intensive, I am hoping to show adverts in order that if I have to move onto a dedicated server, I will have the funds.

As such, I can't say I get XXX hits a day, because I have yet to launch the site and want a small advert there from the start. Can anyone recommend a good agency with which I can show as many or as few adverts as I want without a minimum visitor count?

Basically an adsense clone. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Yahoo! is a good option, even though it is in BETA phase:
    http://publisher.yahoo.com/

I have seen a few websites actually display a few Yahoo! ads, the 5 Link Blocks and they do offer the same service similar to Google.

    Thanks.

    Any other ideas?

I can't become a part of the beta (in UK), but I could wait until it goes public. Surely there are some other services similar to adsense?

I don't have any experience with them, but I think azoogleads is similar, but they are CPA. I don't think they have any traffic requirements though.

    Why the exclamation mark?

    What's so special about chitika?

Do you know if these company offer payment in £GBP?

    Thanks

I put the exclamation mark because I was surprised that I forgot them.

If you haven't heard about chitika yet, I suggest you do some poking around on the board dedicated to it here. I've had good success with them, but I know there are many disgruntled publishers as well. The good: the clicks are usually much higher than Adsense; The bad: they are still in beta and haven't worked out all the kinks yet.

I do know they just moved into international markets...I'd be surprised if the UK wasn't one of them.

You could always decide to publish affiliate banners, maybe 3 or 4 rotating pertaining to your business. You could possibly make more then PPC.
