The Pagerank (PR) Thread

I'm tired of waiting for the whole PR update thing to complete It really does drag on doesn't it !?!?!
I've basically given up on wanting high PRs in this update .... I really don't care what PR I get for my sites ... just as long as I at least get something

The anticipation has killed my enthusiasm

 

Yea I am just hoping that my sites get at least a PR3 but if they get higher than all the better.

 

First days of January dropped two of my sites from 20-25 to 150 and lower in Serps and PR seemed to disappear. I thought things gone very bad, but after a week they've returned, both moved to first page and PR increased by 1 on both sites, so I think it's just an update.

 

Wow, this thread is still very active. Some odd changes have occured on my site including an inner page jumping up to PR3 while the rest of the site is PR0. This change is even showing up in my Google Toolbar now, not just with Dig Pagerank.

 

I am definitely seeing changes, but so far only a portion of many sites expecting an update and fairly inconsistent patterns. After just a little poking around, I have seen:

• Sites w/ PR change +/- on all checked DCs plus toolbar
• Sites w/o PR get PR on some DCs + toolbar
• Sites w/o PR having no change
• Sites w/ PR having no change

PR also seems a little inconsistent with expected results, but I have to look much closer. Some sites expecting an increase going down, some the other way around. Yeesh. I'm still in the SERPs so dance away, Google!

 

Backlinks disappeared now, PR is still strange :s

some of my site have gone from 1 and 2 to 0
when i use http://livepr.raketforskning.com it seems that these are not cached
either
at this time i just hope it is not finished

 

Nothing and that means nothing is going the right way for me this time.

The sites which were already PR 4 and for which I was seriously hoping for PR 6 are going PR 0.

The sites which has 2 backlinks are going PR 4.

 

I didn't look forward to this update, but was very pleasantly surprised to see so little damage done. For my higher PR sites

7->6 1 site
6->5 3 site
6->2 2 site
6->0 4 site
5->6 1 site

I still have 3 PR7 and 60 PR6 sites left, so it seems I can breath more easily for the next 3 months!

man, how can you manage so many websites?

 

Depends on what type of sites it is, some require more attention than others...

 

I read on a blog, that people with Adwords account got notifications from Google that there is going to be something going on on 13th, and some features may be unavailable.
Maybe something is going to happen.

I am in the same boat. For me, sites that I never expected to increase PR are showing PR5 or PR4, and the site I thought would be pr6 is still a pr3. I hope it's not done updated yet.

don't think it is done, if it was then why was i getting inner page ranks for my site of 3 and 4 nothing for the home page and now today nothing at all this has happened on two of my site and the other 60 sites still show no update what's so ever.

Wait another week or so i think and i reckon things will change again

 

Definately not over yet, its still bouncing like a yo-yo across the datacenters.

 

I have a couple of sites that started about the same time. Some with PR now and some without.

Also one who got PR first in this updated but is now back to 0 on all datacentres it seems like. Has anyone seen this before?
