The Pagerank (PR) Thread

Well webmasters are the only people that cares about Pagerank, so don't really expect google to please webmasters cause it's clear enough they don't give a damn about us

 

in normal case, not during update, it is possible for a page to drop from pr5 or pr6 to pr0 in only one update ? considering that the website is not down. i'm just curious if something like this happened to you ( in normal case, not during the update )

 

My new PR0 sites that caught the update all made PR4 whilst all but one of my PR5 established sites are showing they have crashed and have no page rank... go figure.

As others have said, though, traffic is most important and those sites are showing an increase in visitors over the last few days.

Who cares about that green bar?!?

 

Green Bar is pretty important for directory owners IMHO.

My newest site, which only backbuilding was a $20 directory submission and some link exchanges (which were to proxies with no PR.. plus I thought link exchanges did nothing to help PR) has gotten a PR 5

My other sites which I have spent over a hundred on each gaining quality backlinks with pages that have PR and less than 10 OBL's are still at 0

wtf google!!!!

 

Linkwith.us got zeroed on the last PR update, and was PR6 for a long time.
Now the weird stuff is it got its PR back on this update

So i woulnd't worry about it but, i believe it's a conspiracy where google doesn't want that we sell links regarding Pagerank, and they will try everything to make us stop that...

I think the solution is that we don't pay that much attention to pagerank and keep quiet about it... We gotta shake google so they do something.

Lets hope so, coz all datacentres except 3 state a PR 0 for Pedsters Planet!.... Hmmmm, what happend to my PR 5's lol....

 

Darn it!! My site went from PR0 in the toolbar (it is fairly new) to PR3 for about an hour - and now it is back to zero!!! Can someone tell me what this means???? Am i getting PR3?

 

I changed the URLs sitewide in December. Today some of the new ones got PR3 or 4. No change at the TLD though.

 

The toolbar is not the way to see accurate PR. Most likely the toolbar uses different dc's every time you refresh (not sure). This is now the 2nd post I have answered for you. You are obviously not reading what others are posting according to your questions. Just take a look back at my prior comments to see the answer to your questions.

 

I am sorry.... I just got excited when i saw the 3.... I will be a good girl and wait now.

 

Pagerank is still fluxing, jumping up and down untill it runs out of energy (hopefully sometime soon! )

 

Why do need need so many threads on this? You don't even need to search the forum there is already a thread entitled "How did you do this last update" with a poll...............

 

Hey...PR has been changed of my site..but i have one query..PR increased for "domain.com/index.htm" page but domain.com has same PR as before...can any body tell me what is that..

 

Why would it be a conspiracy? All selling PR links does is unfairly dupe the serps - they are meant to be natural results - not here is the guy who had the most money to buy the most links..

Plus Google would lose revenue on Adsense...
