The Pagerank (PR) Thread

I'm seeing mixed results. My inner pages for my main site are fluctuating between PR3 and PR4 after it being PR0 for the last three months.

As far as any of my new sites. No changes yet. It takes quite a while though for dc's to be updated acoording to the last update. I remember it was weeks before it settled.

awesomeproxies.com is the newest of my websites and it got PR5
none of my websites show any change and they are alot older and more backlinks

my 3 months old site is showing 0 and 1 month old site is showing PR 4

 

Thank goodness for that, I now have something else to do all day as well as checking my Adsense

 

So far so good for me a PR4, PR5 and a PR6 (which i wasn't expecting)

 

I don't see any changes on my website but I see some changes from the backlinks

 

I'm reminded of the old monthly Google Dance when everyone would piss their pants in excitement. PR, though? Not so exciting...

I guess they are making a PR for over a billion sites... it's not as if it will be completed in 1 day

 

I never understood the principle of pagerank.
my site is constantly at page1 of google with the targeted keywords.
and PR stand at 3. While the copetition has PR5 or 6

 

Its not PR that matters

SERP's to do with backlinks and the anchor text

PR is good because you can sell links and earn extra money

PR & SERP's are interrelated in the way that they are both affected by backlinks, they are however, two seperate things

its showing 0 does that mean myspace page rank now is 0

 

Okay I'm starting to get really depressed now ... everyone seems to be getting higher pageranks, but NONE of my sites have moved ... really annoying

Mine hasn't moved either. If it's still the same by the end of this
week I'll be annoyed.. MSN and Yahoo show 1,000 backlinks each,
but Google only shows 20! I've got to get off this PR1 eventually.

 

hmm I will check back later this week, or maybe after 10 days, no point discussing update. Get back to work to maintain pr for next update and improve SERP's

 

It might be started, but I still see 0 for my own site may be it's because it's on free pages.
