If they lock the thread then the "I have not seen PR changes yet" posts will just end up in the next PR thread. Or the multiple new PR threads that will then get merged into one. Save your breath and just deal with it.

My main reason for the suggestion is that due to the age of this thread, and the fact that fake update reports have been going on in it for over 2 months now, many people who would otherwise care have no clue that anything is actually happening now, because seeing this thread bumped doesn't mean a damn thing to them.

A new post with "2007-04-21 PR Update" in it might draw some attention, and give everyone a better idea of what sites have been affected so far. I know, the posts about not seeing changes, etc will continue regardless. My suggestion wasn't intended as a way to stop those from happening, but due to the fact that honestly, March's PR update doesn't belong in the thread started in response to January's activity.

I just check various of my sites and see PR5 site that were PR0 in many DC's come to have their PR5 in all DC's now. check your sites here

 

No change here as well, perhaps another few days.

This is as 'real' as any update, but it takes time to complete.

 

Umm, yep, it will take a while. You can't expect it to be instant, that's a LOT of information to process!

Well, actually they aren't processing it. These updates are just exported snapshots. It can happen in under an hour. But for some reason (and this is the second time that they have done this afaik) they seem to have chosen a small cross-section of sites, exported them, and then froze the update in place. I can only assume it is for testing purposes of some sort.

But yes, this is still real.

i have been a huge fan of pr now, can't see anything happening till now. It must have been hanging around with the DC.
