Well, I didn't ask you to make out, I asked if you could support your apparently baseless claim. The last PR/BL update was end of August, iirc. Since it never propagated to all DC's, people who saw a different or older PR since then have many times claimed to see an update, but none have been correct. If you have different info I would love to have you share it with us.

it seems like the PR update is now different from the BL update as I've seen more updates on the BLs of some of my sites during the last few months

Huh, somehow I slept through the Sept PR update. That must have been what Sem was looking at though, looks like he confused the predicted BL update that never happened as being an actual one. Thx Gabs. :D

    That is correct.

Recently, my messageboard was down 3 weeks, I changed software, my forum thread/post urls changed, so I expected to take a hit.

I hadn't seen any PR changes until yesterday when my PR3 was showing PR1 on a rare occasion.

I checkd 50 data centers and sure enough, some of them showed PR1, while most still showed PR3.

I think I'm taking a big hit this go around. :( I guess I'm going to drop from PR3 to PR1. This sucks :(

No, There is no update. Some data center was not updated in last PR update. I am watching regularly, Last time i saw some data center showing PR6 on many DC and still that is.

Allthelink was PR6 and some DC showing PR6 still now. You can check those DC by clicking on IP, Just check your site backlink you will got it ;) they will show your old backlink.

    Live PR: http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=www.allthelink.com

    For example:
    DC Showing PR6:
    http://64.233.163.44/search?hl=en&q=link:www.allthelink.com&btnG=Google+Search

    DC Showing PR4:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=GGGL,GGGL:2006-44,GGGL:en&q=link:www.allthelink.com

btw, My old backlink was 109

    I hope it's clear now.

I see dead people sometimes too, but then I take my pills. Seriously though, I vote to close all page rank threads except for one. If someone starts a new one, then you smack them good.

No change here... Wait I better say more about the subject ..I dont want to get another violation for Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value and lose another point. Its amazing how people get excited when a PR update is going to happen. I went from a 1 to a 5 last time and it did nothing for me..then again just a webmasterwanabee. I want better SERPS . GOOD LUCK everyone.

    Just one of my observations:

My site http://www.addalink.org was PR4 before last update. In last update it reached PR5. I have built a lot of backlinks for it since then. Today when I checked my ranking here, it is showing all Pr4 and PR5 mixed up. Means some of the datacenters are rolling back( don't fire me, thats just an observation).

But what is important to see here is that two datacenters (216.239.51.80 and 216.239.51.104) are showing PR6 for the site. This site of mine has never reached PR6 before. So this MAY be a Google update.

Again, don't fire me, these are just opinions based on my observations.

Edit: It seems livepr.raketforskning shows different datacenters on each search. So you may not see the exact two datacenters mentioned above, but you can surely see SOME Pr6s.
