The Pagerank (PR) Thread

Three of my sites that went PR0 on the last roll out are now showing PR. One of my other sites went from a PR3 to a PR4.

 

there are already a couple running threads about this topic...please do a search before you start any new PR update or PR changes threads

Sorry to start one of these PR threads again (everyone seems to start one of these threads at least once during their time at DP ) but has anyone else seen their PR changing?

I saw some changes yesterday (might've been a day or two before because I hadn't checked) on one of my sites from pr0 to pr4

I have been monitoring a couple of websites and they all drop in value. One common thing about these sites is that they all have not been updated in the last 1 year. One site i know drop in serp and itreally hurd its visits. Conclussion, keep your site updated or you will lose one point.

 

Finally I'm seeing some movement..
A few of my inner pages have gone from 3 or 4 up to 5 .. my homepage is still 5, no change..

 

Exactly same here. Lost PR on some of the sites, though serps are stable. May be google calibrated the PR scale.

 

Like said many times before, just because PR in the toolbar is changed does not do any real changes to your site. Your "real" PR is update more often than the toolbar PR.

 

Mine hasn't changed for 3 months now though I got many PR 6 sites link to me and I still got PR 2

It seems like finally, now the PR update has begun. A few weeks back I don't think it was a full update because now finally most of my new sites gained PR whereas a few weeks ago only a couple of them went up.

 

Do you think this is this a permanent change? One of my sites got PR5 from PR4 a few weeks ago but that one was rolled back...

 

Its like one step backward update for some sites including this site also

2 weeks ago, A directory I have on one of my PR6 sites went from PR5 to PR6 but my SERPs went crazy. From top 10s to out of the top hundred on most terms. This weekend, the site went from PR6 to PR7, the directory went from PR6 to PR4, but nearly all the subdirectory cats went from PR0 to PR3.

I also had a new site go from PR0 to PR5. The subpages on that site got their PR 2 weeks ago.

It has definitely been a long strange update.

 

A strange update indeed. My unlinked celeb site went from a PR0 to PR1, and my other linked out sites didn't move a muscle. Rats.

 

If you are talking about the site in your signature then it has backlinks to it.

I just saw a PR thread at another forum discussing when PR comes around. Someone had said that the Google Toolbar isnt as trustworthy websites that have a PR tool/script on them because the Official Toolbar hasnt been updated for a while. Here is the link for who want to read the article on it.
