The owner of directory mainsearches.com deletes paid featured links!

The url:

I added my site as featured link a few months ago. Wasting a few dollars is nothing but this is a real bad example!

not yet..not sure who it is.

 

I have just sent him a contact message that request he immediatly re-add our sites or face being black-balled by all.
And if he doesnt ive got 20 sites that will warn the public.

Sorry im not in the business off giving anything away for a 2-3 week link, And i have never gotton anything "FREE" from anyone
so i know that i paid for those links in one way or another....

Update: Well he did give them up but not FREE as we had to do somthing in return.


Database stories wont fly with me either...

i know the owner very well

i`m sure it is a simple mistake he does`nt remove sites deliberatly

you guys have come on here and started slating him and you have`nt even given him the chance to respond to your comments

 

well choice im glad you know him and will vouch for his actions.
I agree i flew off the handle a bit and it was wrong but
Im getting tired of spending "thousands" on link purchases just to get stiffed
by webmasters who play "hide the link" and thats why i got bent out off shape.

I dont know what happened and really dont care to know... all i would ask is that whoever it is Keep their word.

well I would like to know about this issue also though I am not one of the victims.

If that brian is the one I am thinking of, I need to know what's up with this stuff, too.

We have not deleted any sites that were paid! we had a database problem when
we moved our hosting to a new host.
we only had a old back up of the database so we lost some of the links.
Featured links were given away to DP members not sold!, I never stated how
long the links were for. I reserve the right to decide which links I accept
on my site.
as for being black listed, I'm a very honest and fair man if I'm to be
blacklisted for having a problem with my site then so be it, maybe you
should be blacklist for jumping to conclusion and sending rude emails.

this is *my* personal opinion on it as well, and with regards to your 'moving hosting'

That's an awful long time in between for a move.

Even if you say you moved yesterday, a move does not, and should not have any effect on the database. All info always stays intact and is as easy as importing the database, which takes all of 3 minutes tops.
