The ORIGINAL Google patent

    As its Friday and I've already done 80 hours...

    Was this the original Google patent granted on March 13th 1928 to Charles P. Google of Greeenwood, Mississippi? :D

    Looks like there's some bad index data in there-- possibly from an OCR algorithm that favored "Google" over the real name that's clearly "Coogle"...

    If you look at the image, it looks like that one's a typo in the patent... I wonder if that's the kind of loophole that would allow a lawyer to get around a patent in court... It's really surprising that a patent could get through the whole process with a typo in a header like that...

    Wow, that's so old. Yeah and the typo. Were they using typewriters those days? Actually there were computers right? Or did google get a patient for fun? lol

    The Swim "google" one? That's 1998/1999, and yes, they had computers. I think I still have a few from then...
