There are so many websites telling you how to get free traffic to your website. The truth is a lot of these free methods do not work. OK - you may get 1 or 2 hits, but if you want hundreds of free hits, you will be there forever trying to generate traffic. If you want free traffic you need to work for it. Create backlinks and join in to communities in your niche. You could alos post comments on other people's blogs. However one of the free traffic building methods is the best when it comes to generating long term free traffic consistently daily.
You are correct. There IS only one way to get free targeted traffic to your website. It's called SEO.
Yes - good point. SEO is the king of traffic. THere are a couple of other free methods that are pretty effective as well. But the majority of them are poor performers.
Here is a clause from one of the PTC sites......... "3rd party hit counters on your site do not accurately represent the number of visitors to your site or the number of ads we served. This is due to the large amounts of traffic sent to the site in a relatively short time frame. Most 3rd party counters can not keep up accurately ." Ha ha - yeah right.........as if. This is the funniest thing I have read for a long time. A computer can't keep up with the volume of traffic??? Come on. Sounds pretty dodgy to me.
Well, to be fair, if you used 10 different hit counters, you'd get 10 different results, as they all seem to measure things differently. PTC sites do have their good points, but it's more of a short term value. Good SEO is still the best long term strategy.
I don't know about that, I've recieved plenty of "FREE" hits from magic auto-traffic only installed it a week ago and have gotten over 1,000 hits. It's not quality traffic or even targeted traffic it's just free traffic to help your Alexa rankings, what else do you want for free?
