Well i'll explain it to begin. Ever seen these irritating toolbars, they make me pissed everyday. But why would these people do this? They get alot of money from it. It is now possible to start your own DRM solution. You encrypt your video and audo files ( ONLY .wmv and .wma !! ) with this toolbar solution. And every time some one views your encrypted file, you will get 25 cents! Now this doesn't sound much, but i found us a good strategy! It is possible to share them on P2P programs and Bittorrent! This works very great, and gives me 200 - 500 installs EVERY DAY Keep in mind people share your files again and again and it reaches like alot of people. So even though the toolbars piss you off, you're still trying to sell them to other people? And considering sharing music and movies is about as legal as walking into a bank and taking their money, I highly doubt this program is legal, or legitimate for that matter.
It is in every way legal, because the people choose to install the toolbar to view the files. Also there is NO copyrighted material shared. It is possible to do this, but unnecessary to use it, because of this it is completely legal.
It could be legal, if you use your own videos and audios. :-P And the software is completely upfront about what the user is installing. I, for one, though, would not install an unknown toolbar to watch a video! Plus, it strikes me as strange that this is "the only real way of making money from home", since I make several grand per month from home.

The software is completely upfront, you are asked to click and decide if you install it. Also i use my own content. Thats your decision, not the softwares. Also there are alot of refferals using it for porn, downloaders they choose to because they else pay 80 cents/minute to view it. What would you choose. DRM is a way for people to make money with content, without asking the viewer payment for it, realize that.
No problem, you can say whatever you want, to get this topic popular. The fact is, this is a thing that may look irritating but does keep the internet free. Webmasters can offer their content, and make money with it to pay their bills, without asking the customer to pay anything. A person that installs the toolbar has all possibilities to remove it.
This reminds me of another incident. Once I browsed to a website where the webmaster claimed he had the secret to making $1000/day and once he had finished his adcopy he said at the end that he was willing to give this secret for only $1 which he needed for the wife and kids! Funny he can tell me how to earn 1000 dollars a day and yet not have enough money himself. It's contradictions like this one and the one Tyler picked out above which ruin your ad campaign. Try not to contradict yourself.
Yes this is a crappy old topic LOL. But a spammer boosted it today. I am not using this program myself anymore. It did give me a steady income of 30 - 50$ monthly by using P2P to spread. But it just wasnt worth the bandwidth.
