I have a link on that site and it does give good traffic and I'm #46.

 

Interesting claim - what do you base this on?

 

It's true that the PR will be divided amongst all the links so I think that's what he means (correct me if I'm wrong). That doesn't mean it's completely nil as it should still pass on a very very small amount. What I like about it is the traffic.

 

Same here...it's bringing great traffic.

 

Right-o. I'm going to buy one for DoubleBoost.com and see if these claims for traffic are true

It is great for traffic. It is interesting to see how traffic increases as you have links that hit different areas of the page. For instance, just before a link I had bought a long time ago was about to go off the front page - the traffic increased - because it was at the very bottom of the page - easy for people to click on.

 

doubleboost.com sounds like a pyramid scheme
as for the linkexperiment - I might give it a try... if anything it will help the guy reach his olympic dream

yeah.. you're right. I does sound like a pyramid scheme. I've added a disclaimer note now on the bottom of my how to page.

Bottom line is that I don't actually make money from it because I need to repay everyone back.

Anyhow... I've bought a link on Brandon's site. I'm number. 43 Will report back on how it goes. Right now I have the great little "new" sign next to my link so it should attract more attention. Will be interesting to see how it goes without the "new" sign

I bought the 50th spot yesterday and have seen a little traffic come through. I've already been bumped to 51st.

what kind of traffic are you seeing from the site?

I think that since linkexperiment is an advertising project, a good part of the traffic are webmasters. That's why I purchased a link there and I'm getting good traffic.

 

I'm at about 70-80, but my link has only been up for a day or so. I imagine it will come down a little once it's been up for a while.

 

You are absolutely right. I cannot believe the amount of traffic I am getting from my link in Link Experiment. I paid $70, back in August, for a link to my site Internet Security 101 and have gotten hundreds of hits from that link. I am still getting a substantial number of hits from Link Experiment, even though I am down to #20 something. If I had the bucks, I'd buy a number one link for my bog.

It looks like the buzz is starting to die down for this one. I wonder if he has any plans to ramp up the publicity? I think I got in a little late on this one.

Anyone know of any up and comers?
