Yah, and that's good, but some of those tools have expanded functions that people may like. The thread was just to provide people with options.

Thanks for liking the tool and also for the link love on your blog, much appreciated.

I hate leaving the SEO PRO link checker alone, so I wanted to let you all know that we have just added a new column that also shows the PR of the donor site's homepage.

This can be especially useful when checking your links from blogs. They may currently show a big fat 0. Yet, by comparing the homepage PR, you may realize that that PR0 link might turn into a PR 4 or 5 on the next Google update!

Oh, and we also added an Anchor Text Summary at the bottom, just under the PR summary. It displays the top 10 anchor texts in order and shows how many of each you have.

It's not pretty yet, but we'd rather get the functionality and reliability right first, and worry about looks later.

Thanks for this found some of my backlinks some of them going most of them are PR 3 then i got PR 4,5,6 and 6 is the max I got so far

 

yah, I was writing the post for my blog, and i really wasn't in love with any of the backlink checkers, but i still knew it was a sought after topic (and my search engine traffic testifies to that) but then i came across your backlink checker here on DP and fell in love with it.

I noticed the new additions earlier today.... so, I am very excited for those.

 

i've been using some of the tools listed by you and they work well. Thanks for putting together all these tools its made my job lot more easy.

 

Same here, mostly all of mine are either PR0 or PR3...im hoping some of the directories I submitted to will get a better PR soon.

 

Yah, most will increase over time.... some will decrease, but a majority will increase...

I am glad that you guys found this list useful... I am not seeing that many threads anymore asking how to check backlinks, so hopefully the purpose of this thread is working.
