The Cowboys play Denver this Sat.
The cool thing is that they will practice together this week and have a few scrimmages I suppose.

I like the idea, I think things like this are beneficial to both teams. [IMG]

Does anyone else's team have similar plans for the rest of the pre-season??

Don't count out Brett Favre! He is the comeback kid! Plus the Bears need to be taken down a notch.

I was happy that they won last year...if nothing else so they can stop talking about how he's never won the big one!
I'm not only counting him out.....well I'll think of the rest later. Has he even been remotely effective the last 3-4 years??
such optimism is great when everyone is 0-0 ;)
if I were a Chargers fan, much like myself with the Cowboys...I'd like to to see a playoff win and then maybe we can get the SB talk buzzing!

The Colts had a pretty bad offseason. Their run defense was terrible last year until the playoffs. This year it's going to be much worse. They are going to need to win a lot of shoot-outs this season. I don't expect the Colts to repeat or even come close to repeating, but expect Manning to have a huge year, because he'll have to make up for a very lackluster defense.

good point especially considering they lost McFarland for the season and I guess he was far and away their best run stopper on D!

Sorry to deviate a little bit here, thought I'd clear something up.

To the common fan, Booger is a big loss for the Colts. However, the key player on this team is BOB SANDERS. Regular season and no Sanders = Terrible, Playoffs and Bob Sanders = Champs.

    'nuff said.

The heat out to be a beast just like it was last week. I expect 95+ with heat index over 100 easily.

I bet the Boys sure miss the friendly confines of the air conditioned 72 degree Alamodome!

Starters ought to play longer this time out, up to a full half I believe.

I'm interested in seeing how they do against Denver in that the joint practices this week, it seemed as though Denver outperformed Dallas on both side of the ball.

Some more pics from my visit to training camp:

We had dinner plans so I had to tape the game :p

I've only seen the 1st 1/2 thus far but yeah, Romo and company played well, and more importantly they found the end zone this week!! JJ finally got a chance to punch one in!!

I think the D also showed a little more of what they can do. It seemed like they were getting a lot more pressure than last week, albeit it did not result in many if any sacks.

Good progression. I hope the discipline carries over into the season, seems like very few penalties thus far!!

I'm interested in seeing the 2nd half now to see what some of the backup and fringe players did.
