I've often said the best punishment for an NFL player who breaks a rule, ie., drugs, whatever... should be to have them play a few games without a helmet or padding.. Screw suspensions..

For teams that cheat like the Pats, they should have the games they were caught cheating at removed from their records..

Pats, currently 10-2 in my book, (I'm including last seasons cheating against the GBP in there too)..

Scum... What the pats need is McNabb as a backup!

Cheatersville  ?!?! Come on now lol!

Well I know one thing for certain that the conditions on Sunday in New England are going to be ugly. For you ugly conditions you a strong, consistent running game. Which the Steelers have, and Pats don't . But with Tom Brady under center, your offense can pull through anything. And it's so hard to pick against them especially home.

Keys for the Steelers to win are control their turnovers in the second half, and their secondary play is very important; if they somehow just somehow they can lock down the Pats receivers, New England's running game will be challenged. Second half play is key to beat the Pats, because as the game progresses other teams wear down, and let up but the Pats shift into two final gear and show up at the right time.

As for the Pats, I think Bill Belichik knows what to do ;).

The Pats are the anti-Christ.. McNabb is their profit, sent to bring down other teams that could have beaten them...

If McNabb wasn't in Philly, the Eagles would have never had the chance to play to try to beat the Pats.

getting of the NE bus for a sec.

    Cowboys/Lions...

did you hear about the uncharacteristic 'threat' made by Terrence Newman?

He said on Sirius radio that he hoped he was sent on a corner blitz...give Kitna a big hello even if it meant a 5,10,$25K fine!!

He got reprimanded by the NFL office!

funny thing is, this would be just any other game had it not been for Kitna's stupid remarks last year. Now at least 2 of the defensive players are extra pumped for the game!!

Last year Kitna bascially called Newman an average corner (not as good as Marcus Trufant...who is even in the NFL anymore?) and also blasted Brady James.

Kitna might be an average corner, but one thing is for sure.. McNabb is still over rated and the Pats suck!

Yea I did hear about this. As if, the Cowboys need extra incentive to blast this quarterback, especially since he runs his mouth so much anyways . Overall, this should be an easy win for the Boys, don't see how the Lions can even run with them. So no worries, you're gonna pull out with a win ;).

If this make you all any happy, a Patriot has been fined this week :eek:!
For some comments he made to Ravens head coach during Monday Night Football, and Coach in Billick in response gave him man flying kisses lol.

I'm not happy to see over payed athletes on a winning team act like assholes.. It just goes to show, if you cannot win with class, you're just not going to be a winner.

Well he's still winning, therefore he's a winner.

Yea, 3 or 4 of the Ravens players were fined about a total of $70k.

But I am really having my doubts of how far this team is going in to the playoffs . They have just worked so hard in the regular season, and you could tell last game that their defense was clearly very tired. Two or three seasons ago, I remember the Colts had a team just like this one with: a great passing game, no running game, and a mediocore defense. Now the Colts: have gone through some ups and downs, have a great running game, and a physical defense. Sound familiar to the Pats SuperBowl years  ?

you may very well have an excellent point there. I guess I really never considered that...just figured for NE it's game/set/match.

I think the difference is that NE knows what it takes whereas the old IND team or so many other 14-2 AFC teams before them just crashed and burned in the playoffs b/c they weren't as 'crafty as NE'; crafty meaning savvy/veteran SB winners x 3.

Be interesting to see if the Steelers can pull it all together this week and seal the deal on what could have very well been victories by the Eagles and Ravens.

Yes very much a valid point that the Pats have that veteran experience, and never to forget a QB like Tom Brady.

I hate to say this, but a loss to the Steelers might actually be good for the Pats in the long wrong going in to the playoffs.

I'd rather see them go 16-0 and then loose in the SB to Dal or GB :D:D (or IND in the conf ch)
