This is episode three of Joel Comm's new show for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. In this episode they play poker. Watch it here Cheers.
The camera man is visible dressed casually holding a camera when they are playing poker. Isn't that a bit unprofessional for a tv show?
I enjoyed this episode more than the other two, it's starting to get exciting now that they are finally getting rid of some people and not just putting them in the "sandbox". LOL
Lol they should do a show with people from DP. Start them with 100 bucks and see who can make the most off the web in 2 months. Every week kick off the guy who's making the least
lol that's a good idea, would be a good round for The Next Internet Millionaire, one of the eps. So far I've found it pretty lackluster in terms of entertainment value, you can't deny the production and quality but I think... script and content wise it's pretty boring.
How about a version of "extreme home makeover" extreme business makeover get a bunch of gurus to come and do a earnings turnaround on a web business or two. Ideas?
That's been done. To a degree, I remember seeing similar things on TV quite a few times (UK). Would be good to do it on a bigger scale though and with well known entrepreneurs.
I had this idea for a show like that a while back, you go in and shoot the thing, engage some gurus, get the result for the 'client" and cut it into a 1 hour show for broadcast, then, go to the niche served in the show, say plumbers and sell them the rest of the content, the nitty gritty nuts and bolts of the makeover for 497 to 997, kind of like a big case study with a guaranteed happy ending. Neat thing about selling a concept like this to the exceedingly risk averse network folks, is you would likely have the advertiser (the production company for the back end product) built in ;-) Thoughs?
Cool, but this'll start the whole internet bust again. People will come flocking to the internet thinking that making money is easy, and then they'll bust.
Well, have you seen the FOURTH episode yet? Eating worms has to count as some entertaining value... although... I must say, being married to one of the worm-eaters, it's kind of gross. ...but I do agree, it's getting more exciting now that people are actually going home...
