The internet is like the airplane that everyone jumped on and it can't take off now cause it weighs too much or is in jeopardy of crashing. More spam and click fraud will lead to more regulation of the internet, by big corporations, you see it in China, it is happening here in the U.S. (new internet 'czars') which means less money in your pockets and more money elsewhere. Search engines will have to regulate due to all the spam and give more traffic to higher authority sites (like Wikipedia) leaving the little guy in the dust or risk losing business. So that's less money for the little guy and more for the larger corporations, or you will have to work for the larger corporations. I wouldn't be surprised if search engines didn't start manually optimizing their results, I'd be surprised if they didn't already. That's the future of the internet, a little grim I know, but sorry to have to say all that.
I'm sure that there will be many innovations to come but as far as what they are, I couldn't tell you. That's the thing though; nobody can truly predict the "next big thing" or innovation unless they are the innovator themselves.
Expecting that it would be gdrive concept from google. Thus registered ilovegdrive .com domain name long ago
As long as the independent source is not just re-garbeled news from the mainstream. There quite a few bloggers and youtubers who will go out with their own camera and show some things.. I find that interesting and usually you see stuff that is censored off the main stream. Like this guy caught them bulldozing Brand new homes in California after the real estate bust which I Never even heard on the mainstream.
