How do you expect to be taken seriosuly when you even have contextual links on your affilaite signup page? This is a major leak. Any external advertising on your site is a big no imo - it is a way for you to make money (and tiny amounts of money at that even) and cut the affiliate out. If you are serious about getting good affiliates you should cut this kind of thing out and streamline your sales process so that it is all a big funnel into one place - a sale which will credit affiliates...

You have been on clickbank a couple of weeks now (and not made any sales at all according to this: http://cbengine.com/clickbank/cmediacorp-online-classifieds ) and posted here a few times, I think such comments have been made, or also that your site is confusing for how affiliates make money, and why people would pay to post on your site at all.

If you are serious about wanting affilaites then get a better focus on your sales funnel, and cut the ads out, if you want to keep the ads you will never really get decent affiliates, but thats ok - it's just another route - let people post articles for free (like everywhere else does) and monetize through ad clicks or selling advertising space... one or the other though really...

We just implemented the Infolinks a few days ago, and they are meant to be on advert pages only, but for some reason they are picking up every single page on the site.

If you look at other classifieds sites like gumtree, backpage etc - they run affiliate schemes and also monetize by adsense, and there is no conflict between these revenue sources. Given that the core product is free, there will be a lot more visitors to these sites.

we have used paypal for processing payments for the past few months, and we are thus new with clickbank. To be fair on the affiliates, we therefore removed that part of the payment processing to channel everything through clickbank and if you have a look around the site, you will actually see quite a few paid ads on there from the time before we got onto clickbank.

suggestions on how to improve are always welcome though!
