I dont think so.., you have to understand that this games have a problem, and that problem is the hacking/cheating, with the new tactics of "free to play" implemented by all this game companys, will make their servers full of cheaters, wich will change the public opinion to be negative about this games, so to change the mmorpg generation, on the first place you have, i mean they have to create a global anti-cheating system, and new program languange wich keep the games secure.

Im playing games since 1999, from my experience.., that games from the list are far away from the word "new" generation.

Its true, there are some games with a huge potential, but their owners dont have the resources to boost their games, for example APB Reloaded, or Blacklight Retribuiton wich is epic, but was made in first person shoter like counter strike and thats boring, but the graphics and the engine is super cool, or Guild Wars 2 wich was the fail of the year.., so i think this mmorpg games will die in metter of few years, the game companys created this new games to win money fast.., they dont care what the comunity wants.

Probably will apear some kind of new "game play", who knows, in any case, the ope world mmo is very nice, but as i said, if the game is full of cheaters.., the game companys should stop using the free game engines like Unreal, Cryengine, they have to build their own game engine..

i agree with the cheating problem, im 35 and have been a gamer almost all my life and the cheating is so very annoying it wrecks games. another issue is nowadays WoW is still the great game to overcome, so they make alot of games attempting just that and to date failing miserably... originality is just tanked :/

It's not profitable to move MMORPG's for new gen's as soon as they are available, because 75% of people still use old PC's and stuff.
