    Can anyone tell me which is the next best search engine after the two big giants:- GOOGLE and YAHOO ??

    Is it MSN ???

    Which is best is subjective, but the one with the third biggest market share is MSN/Live Search.

    Since ask quite MSN livesearch is really the only serious contender other than Yahoo and Google.

    Google, Yahoo, Live, Ask. Those are the best and only search engines you need, especially cause they are using the modern technology, the first two, of latent semantic indexing. While every new search engines is still trying to go the old way.

    According to Alexa, Live.com is now more popular than Google. Live.com increased its rank and placed to the 3rd place after YouTube. While Google dropped down with a rank of 4, after Live.com. Good for Google that they bought YouTube which is ranked now as the second.
