    came to the conclusion, that top-clean urls like your exmaple 1 to 3 are sure the most prefered by the bots.

    but as long as there is no session-id in xy.php?id=1212 these are now indexed well these days too,
    as long as the domain is valued as high value content

    This is called proper internal link structuring, your pointing to category specific sections with relevant releant content in that tier of the URL structue.
