Looks like somebody cloned the Rich Jerk - "Wealthy Wise Guy". It doesn't seem as effective though, despite the Wise Guy's superior earnings. :D

People will continue to believe it because they get desperate and instead of working on something legit that could actually bring them money in the long-run they want the instant gratification. I had a review website before I sold it where we bought things such as rich jerk and reviewed them. None of them made us any money and Rich Jerk was probably the worst because we got spammed like crazy with the email we signed up as well as the phone number we signed up with was called 1-2 times a day for 4 weeks with them trying to sell us other get rich quick schemes and try to fake like we were picked specially to get extra training that cost a lot of money.

There have been tons of people trying to 'piggy back' on the buzz that the rich jerk generated a few years ago. None of these copy cats have ended up being anywhere near as successful however.

This is mainly due to the fact that they just blatantly attempt to be rude without using the highly effective and disguised marketing the rich jerk used beneath the 'I'm rich and better than you' talk he used.

Blogging about being rich attracts attention from those people that want to be rich. That's why this niche of marketing has so many followers and people that imitate the bloggers.

They are not rich, how can they tell us how to become rich. Also if your rich you won't most probably tell people about it. I wont :)

It seems to me that instead of people get all swept up in these get rich quick schemes, they would be better just to get on with something legit and just work consistently hard at it. It's consistency that counts in this business.
