Your forum looks nice and designed well. however you header banner need a bit of design you should remove you small header banner.

I would make the text size in the banner welcome to the Factory forum and blah blah....I would make it much smaller..

 

I kind of like the text size big. Does that mean Im getting old ?

as everyone said make the font size smaller in welcome to forum part

regarding the header the colour used is good but there should be some little space atleast between characters in the header. why don't you try with another font

 

i think it looks great except for the text, you might want to make the drop shadow black instead of cream.

Nice forum layout. This isn't necessary, but the only change I would make is to redesign the logo or add a graphic/icon beside it
