The New Guy needs help......pls?

hey everybody.....im new to the forum and this SEO stuff so i was jus wondering if anyone out there can lend a hand.....

heres the situation.....im setting up this new site and i want to get it up on lets say google.com top 5 result pages.......what are the basics i need to do to achieve this?

There are many things. like the no of backlinks, unique content, quality, keywords etc. Find a SEO, he will do the work for you.

 

submit your sites to directory sites. They helped me.

 

backlinks, unique quality content, pagerank, meta tags,keyword density etc etc etc

Link Trade with a site which has a high page rank.. The site should be almsot same with your site but not a direct competitor
