The new Google Algorithm - Content is now KING - BIG TIME

I always believe Content is King, Traffic is Queen, and Money is Prince. Must have king and queen, they make love and.... then they give us Price lol

 

i agree that in the end content and backlinks are equally important

 

i think they just pay more attention to contentbut it still not the most important thing. We need more experimen and give google sometime to adjust their algorythms. what we can do now is still building more good content and backlinks as before. back to work guys!!!

I can't wait for it to take full effect. Especially when it comes to blog search where quality sites often get outranked by fake ones

 

Good content is important to make your site interesting, but no go in search engines without backlinks. I don't think this principle will ever be changed.

 

content has always been king. Build sites for people not for search engines

You would think that would you, in a perfect world it is, but sadly we don't live in one.

Whos to say my content is better than yours? Is there some sophisticated crawler that gives value to content?
People seems to think that google is all knowing divine entity, its not, it uses variables as inputs to its algorithm. Some of the algorithm are secrets, some are intentionally published. Used or not, nobody knows.

While the algorithms tries hard to mimic human behavior, the results are still open to debate.

So while it comforting to think that if youve got a killer content you'll be fine, you still need to take into accounts all the published variable to google algo.

Anybody thinks coca-cola is better than pepsi?

 

I think this is incorrect.
It is not the content but the niche.
I'll explain why and how.

Subject X
There are many sites competing for the serps of this competitive subject, but they all sell products X Y Z also.

A site comes along and sells just X
Bang
Top of serps.
Google is actaully trying to encourage it to be an authority site on the subject.
It works especially well with branded names.
Been there for at leat three years

Why can't backlinks be the answer? because that is the answer you are looking for. Other than a very good domain name with all the keywords in the order they are typed into google.
