The New Adsense vs Bidvertiser thread

Okay yes we have had heaps of old Adsense vs bidvertiser threads. Adsense has won the argument in every one of those threads.

But i have been having a different experience with bidvertiser. As many of you may know, on my adsense blog, i am not allowed to run adsense adds because adsense is in the domain. So i turned to bidvertiser, just and only for that blog ( i inted to keep it that way for now), and the results well im shocked. I have long associated bidvertiser as a scam, with low playing clicks. But with my blog, i use to average adsense 40 cents for it a click. With Bidvertiser its 80 cents. And i got one bidvertiser click worth $2.40 and a second worth $2.10. I think Bidvertiser is picking up.

Is anyone experiencing similar results or have i just stumbled across an adsense niche phonomenon that pays a lot in bidvertiser (people running adsense blogs/websites thats for you :p).

    ?

I have the exact opposite experience..
My earning dramatically dropped when tried to experiment with bidvertiser.

My earnings dropped with bidvertiser for everything. But not when using the adsense niche in bidvertiser which is weird.

If your in the adsense niche, meaning you have a site about adsense, give it a trial period. Meaning test it out. I wouldn't make any drastic change, but if the trial period shows some good things, then maybe you could change.

Well, of course it would be better if, as you say, you can't use adsense on the pages. ANYTHING would have better results than nothing :)

I got told you couldn't use adsense, if you had adsense in the domain. I know heaps of sites about adsense, currently using adsense.

I'm not sure if you can or can't (not needing to find out for my own purposes) I've heard trademark issues etc, I really wish we could get clarification on this once and for all from Google...did you actually ask Google if it would be allowed on your domain?

I personally use BidVertiser and find their payouts for clicks slightly better than Adsense... depends on the niche though!

I sent them an email. And they said i can't run adds specifically because adsense is in the domain. Yeh i agree with you on its confusing. I look at sites based on adsense and google has no problem with it as long as its not in the domain. Very confusing.

Anybody knows whether I can run both adsense and bidvertiser on the same page? Is this not against Adsense Tos?

You can do that im pretty sure, as long as the adds don't look the same. Which will eventually lead to one of your adds not suiting the page. Bidvertiser is not as bad as what everyone says. You can make there adds look just like adsense adds. Plus they pay out when you get to $10 through paypal.

You can customize the look of BidVertiser ads much more than you can with Adsense, take a look here:

    http://www.blackcatproxy.info

Notice the font can be changed, and width and height, and the option to open ads in a new window :D
