I'm a full time IM. Maybe I have ADD, or am just really unorganized, but I am having trouble keeping to a daily schedule.

How did you finally get the discipline to get on a set schedule. Also what are some good organization tips that you could give. I know Discipline is something thats difficult to teach, but how did you persevere? Also What is your work schedule look like.

    Somethings that I considered:

    1. Moving my office out the home(could be good, or just a waste of $).
    2. Keep everything else around me organized, like shower/breaksfast/brush/excersize/then work.
    3.Take Adderall.

    Thanks PPCB

Excellent post, I'm going to implement this into my schedule immediately. I know a lot of people here are guilty of these sins.

These are things you have to develop over time. It's like a muscle. You train in and "damage it" so that it repairs itself and in time it grows stronger.

You start with light weights and then you slowly move to heavier ones.

    It's the same with discipline.

At the start set small goals and STICK to them. Then move to bigger goals and stick to them too.. Because hey, if you can't trust yourself to stick to small goals, how can you EVER trust yourself to stick to big goals...

You can do thirty day challenges... They are AWESOME for developing discipline.
What you basically do is to decide to do something for 30 days straight without missing a single day. After that you'll realize it's relatively easy to stick to your decisions and you'll be even stronger.

Another thing that's important to understand is MOTIVATION and PASSION.

You need to always be motivated... Keep your sight on your goal. Imagine vividly what you'll get when you'll achieve your goals.
But passion is what keeps you returning to your daily tasks again and again. Be curious about your job, discover new ways of doing it. Be excited.

And above all, have some rock solid standards. If you decide to do something - YOU DO IT.

    Good luck

I've found it helps me when I remember that a schedule is simply a guide. My would doesn't come to an end if I don't follow my schedule exactly as it is laid out, if at the end of the day I've accomplished all that I set out to accomplish.

First off, you don't need to resort to drugs to do this. Make a daily planner, have daily wake up times, drink coffee, and have a lot of projects.

I'm also a full time internet marketer. I try to optimize every minute of my time, and I'm aways busy.
